Please contact your dealer. -No remote controloperations can beperformed.● Check whether the batteries have discharged completely and, if they havenot, whether they were inserted properly. -● Check whether the remote control sensor is exposed to an outdoor light or astrong fluorescent light. -● Check whether any obstacle is present between the remote control sensorand the remote control.If the installation condition is normal, pull out the remote control sensor fromthe edge side of the main unit when using.19● Check whether the remote control designed specifically for use with the unitis being used. (The unit cannot be operated by any other remote control.) -● Check if [Initial Setting] - [Remote Operation] is set to [Disable]. 45It takes a while for thepicture to appear.● The unit digitally processes the various signals in order to reproduceesthetically pleasing images. As such, it sometimes takes a few momentsfor the picture to appear when the power has been turned on, or when theinput has been switched.-Spots appear on thescreen.● This may occur because of interference from automobiles, trains, highvoltage lines, neon lights, etc. -Colour is pale. ● Check if the colour strength is adjusted properly. (Check the adjusted valuesof the picture.) 41Coloured pattern appearsand then the colour fades.● Check if the unit is affected (interference) by another imaging device.This symptom may improve if the installation location of the unit is changed. -The top or bottom of thepicture on the screen iscut off.● The image position has been adjusted.Adjust the position of the picture on the screen. 42There are areas at thetop and bottom of thescreen where picture is notdisplayed.● When using a video software programme (such as a cinema sizeprogramme) with a screen wider than one in the 16:9 mode, blank areasseparate from the images are formed at the top and bottom of the screen.-The edges of the imagesflicker.● Due to the characteristics of the system used to drive the liquid crystalpanel, the edges may appear to flicker in the fast-moving parts of theimages. This is normal and not indicative of malfunctioning.-The unit cannot beoperated with the buttonsprovided in the unit.● Check if [Keypad Operation] is set to [Disable]. 45There is no picturedisplayed or sound outputsometimes.● When HDMI or DVI signals are input to the display using a selector ordistributor, sound or images may not be output in the normal fashiondepending on the selector or distributor used.The symptoms may be improved by turning the power off and on again, orby replacing the selector or distributor.-Display is strange such asno picture, or the remotecontrol stopped workingsuddenly.● Very advanced software is embedded in the unit. If you feel somethingis strange, for example “The remote control cannot be operated” or “Thedisplay is corrupted”, remove the power supply plug from the power socketand insert the power supply plug once again after about 5 seconds and startthe power supply.26Serial control doesn’twork. ● Check if the connection is correct. 37Check the following points once again.
