1.13 Conference Features138 Feature Guide1.13.1.2 ConferenceDescriptionThis PBX supports three through eight-party conference calls. During a two-partyconversation, an extension user can add other parties to their conversation, therebyestablishing a conference. More than four-party conferences are only possible when a PT useroriginates the conference.Unattended Conference:A PT user can leave a conference to allow other parties to continue the conversation. The usermay return to the conference, if he desires.Conditions• CONF (Conference) ButtonFor a PT which does not have the CONF button, a flexible button can be customised asthe Conference button.• Unattended Conference Call DurationThe call duration can be restricted by the Unattended Conference Recall time. TheUnattended Conference Recall time consists of the following programmable timers:a) Unattended Conference Recall Start Time:When the timer expires, Unattended Conference Recall starts to be heard at theconference originator. If the originator does not return to the conference, 1stUnattended Conference Recall Continuation time will start.b) 1st Unattended Conference Recall Continuation Time:When the timer expires, an alarm tone starts to be heard at parties in the UnattendedConference. If the originator does not return to the conference, 2nd UnattendedConference Recall Continuation time will start.c) 2nd Unattended Conference Recall Continuation Time:When the timer expires, the Unattended Conference call is disconnected.If the originator returns to the conference before the Unattended Conference call isdisconnected, the timer will be cancelled. If not, Unattended Conference Recall and analarm tone will continue to be emitted until the Unattended Conference call isdisconnected.• For Six or More Party ConferenceThe ECHO card is required.
