Register it (page 41).L The handset is too far from the base unit.Move closer.L The base unit AC adaptor is notconnected. Check the connections.I cannot make or receive calls.L The base unit AC adaptor or telephoneline cord is not connected. Check theconnections.L If you are using a splitter to connect theunit, remove the splitter and connect theunit to the wall socket directly. If the unitoperates properly, check the splitter.L Disconnect the base unit from thetelephone line and connect the line to aknown working telephone. If the workingtelephone operates properly, contact ourservice personnel to have the unitrepaired. If the working telephone doesnot operate properly, contact your serviceprovider.L The call bar feature is turned on. Turn it off(page 25).L You dialled a call restricted number (page30).L The key lock feature is on. Turn it off (page13).The unit does not ring.L The ringer volume is turned off.
