The RESTORING DATA dialog box appears(defined as either user preference data, waypoint and route data, orall data), asking you to wait while the 961/962 restores the data. Thisdialog box is followed by the SUMMARY OF DATA RESTORED dialogbox, showing the number of files restored.4. Press the %10(+4/ key to return to the DATABASE FUNCTIONscreen. To use the restored database, you must restart the 961/962: Press the 294 key to turn the 961/962 off, then press it againto restart. The 961/962 will now use the restored database.Undoing a restoreAfter the 961/962 restores a database, you’ll have the option to undo therestore operation. As long as the 961/962 power is on, you’ll always havethis option; however, if you restart the 961/962 by turning it off andthen on, or if power is interrupted, you’ll lose the option to undo therestore.1. At the DATABASE FUNCTION screen, press the 70&14'5614' key.This key only appears after you’ve restored a database to the 961/962, since a database that hasn’t been restored can’t be undone. TheSELECT A RESTORED DATABASE TO UNDO dialog box appears.Depending on which database you’ve just restored, press either the75'424'('4'0%' key, the 9#;21+065#0&4176'5 key, or the#.. key.
