The SAVING DATA dialog box appears(defined as either user preference data, waypoint and route data, orall data), asking you to wait while the 961/962 saves the data. Thisdialog box is followed by the SUMMARY OF DATA SAVED dialog box,showing the number of files saved.4. Press the %10(+4/ key to return to the #$#5'(70%6+10screen.Restoring a databaseRemember: Restoring a database will overwrite your existing database.To restore a previously saved database to the 961/962:1. Press the 56#4 key until you reach the 5'48+%'/'07 screen, thenpress the #$#5'5#0&.1)5 key.2. At the #$#5'(70%6+10 screen, press the 4'5614'#$#5'5 key. This key only appears after you’ve saved adatabase to the 961/962, since a database that hasn’t been savedcan’t be restored. The SELECT DATABASE TO RESTORE dialog boxappears.Figure 35: Select database to restore dialog box> To restore only your setup and service options (user preferences),press the 75'424'('4'0%' key.> To restore only your waypoints and routes, press the 9#;21+065#0&4176'5 key (the 961/962 always restores waypoints androutes together, since routes are comprised of waypoints).> To restore all of the above, press the #.. key.The RESTORE DATA dialog box appears, defined as either user preferencedata, waypoint and route data, or all data, depending on which of theabove options you chose.
