Make preparation for the task.a. If the server is installed in a rack, slide the server out on its rack slide rails to gain access to thetop cover, or remove the server from the rack. Remove any parts and disconnect any cables that might impede your access to the CMOSbattery.Step 2. Locate the CMOS battery. See “System-board-assembly connectors” on page 21.Step 3.
