To remove a storage drive from the storage drive bracket, see the relevant description in “3.5-inchstorage drive in the storage drive bay” on page 129, “2.5-inch storage drive in the storage drive bay” onpage 133, or “2.5-inch storage drive with a converter in the storage drive bay” on page 138.5. To remove the blind-connect assembly, do the following:a. Record the cable routing and cable connections. Then disconnect all cables of the blind-connectassembly from the system board, the RAID adapter, and the BCA-to-SATA cable.b. Pull the blind-connect assembly completely out of the chassis and remove the cables through therouting hole.Note: Be careful when you pull the cables through the hole.6.
