Consumer Defined Control FeaturesFEATURE OVERVIEWOven Lockout (Gas Range)Temperature DisplayNote: The Consumer Defined Control features are adjustments to thecontrol that will not affect cooking results. These include the OvenLockout, Temperature Display and Silent Control Operation features.Setting Oven Lockout FeatureThe LOCK (_ pad controls the Oven Lockout feature. The Oven Lockout feature automatically locks the oven doorand prevents the Warmer Drawer from being turned on. It does not disable the clock, Kitchen Timer, surface gasburners, Warmer Zone or the interior oven light(s).INSTRUCTIONS PRESS DISPLAYTo activate the Oven Lockout feature:1. Press and hold (_ for three seconds (Fig. 1).2. After 3 seconds the lock icon light ( I1_ ) wilt appear, a beep willsound and "DOOR LOCKED" will flash in the display. Once theoven door is locked the "DOOR LOCKED" indicator will stopflashing and remain on along with the lock icon light.To reactivate normal oven operation:1. Press and hold (_ for three seconds. A beep will sound.The "DOOR LOCKED" will continue to flash until the ovendoor has completely unlocked and the lock icon light ( I1_ )will clear (See Fig. 2).2. The range is again fully operational.(_for 3 seconds(_for 3 secondsFigure 1Figure 2Setting Temperature Display-- Fahrenheit or CelsiusThe BROIL (_) and SELF CLEAN _ pads control the Fahrenheit or Celsiustemperature display modes. The oven control can be programmed to displaytemperatures in Fahrenheit or Celsius. The oven has been preset at the factory todisplay in Fahrenheit.INSTRUCTIONS PRESSTo change display from Fahrenheit to Celsius orCelsius to Fahrenheit:DISPLAY1. To tell if the display is set for Fahrenheit or Celsius press andhold the (_) pad. "BROIL", "550 °" will appear in the display(See Fig. 3) and continue to HOLD for 7 seconds. A beep wiltthen sound. If "F" appears, the display is set to showtemperatures in Fahrenheit (Fig. 4). If "C" appears, thedisplay is set to show temperatures in Celsius (Fig. 5).2. Press _ to switch between Fahrenheit or Celsius displaymodes. The display will show either "F" (Fig. 4) or "C" (Fig. 5).3.
