At your PC:a) Open the browser and enter the IPAddress displayed on the keypad into yourbrowser.The IP Address is displayed in the lower left-hand corner onthe Tuxedo Touch Keypad “Home” screen.NOTE: If using an iPad, iPhone or PC browser with lowbandwidth on the mobile type theme, to switch betweennormal theme and mobile theme, go to the Home page onthe Web browser and press the Switch Theme icon; theuser interface displays the mobile theme. Web themes forAndroid phones and Tablets are not supported.Network ConnectionsTo set up network connections, from the “Home” screen, and do the following:ICON ACTION NOTES1. At the Tuxedo Touch keypad:a) Press the Setup icon.b) Press the IP Setup icon.2. Select a type of network connection:LAN ON or WIFI ON and go to thatsection below for further information.A pop-up window displays the message:Save the ChangeSelect Yes to save the settings.Setup a LAN ConnectionFrom the IP Setup screen, add a LAN network connection as follows:ICON ACTION NOTES1. At the Tuxedo Touch keypad:a) Press the LAN ON button.- Connect an Ethernet cable betweenthe router and the keypad; the IPaddress and default gateway addressof the router is displayed.- If the IP address is not displayed,change the “Internet ConnectionType” to Static to manually enterthe IP address from your router ontothe keypad. Highlight each field andenter the required information onthe “Data Entry Keyboard” forSubnet Mask, Default Gateway,DNS Server and Port #; press GO.2. Press the Save icon; the IP informationwill automatically update.3. At your PC, Smart Phone or Tabletbrowser, start your browser and enteryour IP Address.A pop-up window displays:This will switch off WLAN Network, do you wantto continue? Yes or NoUse the Data Entry Keyboard to enter the requiredinformation.• Press the “up arrow” to switch to capital letters.• Press the Space key to add a space betweencharacters.• Press the x key to delete/backspace.• Press the ABC/123 key to switch betweennumerals and symbols/characters.• Press GO to return to the IP Setup screen.Note: To change the default port number (6280),press the field next to port number and on the dataentry keyboard enter a secondary port numberbetween 5000-65534. Press GO and then pressSave.A pop-up window displays:Success Network Details SavedPort number changed. Keypad is going to resetThe keypad will reboot with the newly configuredport number.
