Excel 800 LIONEN1B-0375GE51 R0308 12LONWORKS Bus TopologiesThe LONWORKS Bus is a 78-kilobit serial link that usestransformer isolation so that the bus wiring does not have apolarity. I.e. it is not important which of the two LONWORKSBus terminals are connected to each wire of the twisted pair.The LONWORKS Bus does not need to be shielded on thecontroller module side.The LONWORKS Bus can be wired in daisy chain, star, loopor any combination thereof as long as the maximum wirelength requirements are met.ConfigurationThe recommended configuration is a daisy chain with twobus terminations. This layout allows for max.
