Your serversupports up to eight 1-inch high 3.5-inch SCA SCSI hard drives. You canpurchase additional SCSI drives through your Gateway sales representative.To install a hard drive:1 Unlock the front cover’s lock, then swing the hot-swap bay door open.2 If a drive has failed, determine which drive has failed by running storageconsole software. Match the software’s SCSI ID for the failed drive withthe SCSI ID number to the left of the hot-swap bays.Important The numbers on the left side of the hot-swap bay identifythe SCSI ID of each drive. Install the topmost drives first.Gateway tests and verifies the operation and compatibilityof the drives it sells. Additional or replacement drives mustconform to Gateway standards.Hot-swapbay
