Toselect an option, highlight it, and press ENTER.Compass PageOptions MenuThe following options are available:Stop (Resume) Navigation—turns active navigationfor a route or a Go To on or off.Recalculate— recalculates to path to a destination.Course (Bearing) Pointer—toggles between thecourse arrow and the bearing pointer.Data Fields—allows you to select the number of datafields that appear on the Compass Page.Change Data Fields—allows you to select the typeof data you want to show in the data fields. See page80 for descriptions of each option.Restore Defaults—returns to the factory settings.Using the Course Pointer or BearingPointerThe Bearing Pointer and Course Pointer workindependently of each other. One indicates thedirection to your destination, and the other indicatesyour relationship to a course line leading to thedestination.If the Bearing Pointer arrow is pointing straightup, for example, you are going directly to yourdestination. If it points any direction other than up,turn toward that direction until the arrow is pointingup and then continue in that direction. The BearingPointer always points to the destination, regardlessof the direction you are moving. Most efficient if youmust move around obstacles (lakes, private property,etc.) in your path.
