16 GPSMAP 60Cx Owner’s ManualBASIC OPERATION >To clear one or all proximity waypointsfrom the list:To remove or review a single entry, pressENTER.OrTo remove all waypoints from the list, pressMENU, highlight Remove All, and pressENTER.Man OverBoard (MOB)Another method for creating a waypoint is the ManOverboard (MOB) feature. Typically an applicationfor marking a location on water where you cannotstop quickly and must return to a point where thereare no landmarks for reference.To create a waypoint using the MOBfeature:1. Press and hold the FIND key.2. Press ENTER to open the Map Page showingthe path from your current location to the MOBpoint. Use the Compass Page for additionalguidance to the MOB point.Using the Find MenuUse the Find Menu to search for waypoints, cities,and exits included in the GPSMAP 60Cx basemap.You can also find saved waypoint and geocachepoints. Additional icons appear depending on theoptional BlueChart or MapSource data loaded to theunit.
