Using the clock and timer. GEApp,onces.coMake sure the clock is set to thecorrect time of day.To Set the ClockThe clock must be set to the correct time ofday for the automatic oven timing functionsto work properly. The time of day cannot bechanged during a timed baking or self-cleaningcycle.%r2]Pressthe Clock pad.On models with number pads, press themin order to set the correct time of day.On models with Hour and l'4in + and -pads, press them to set the correct timeof day.[] Press the Startpad.On/OffThe timer is a minute timer only.The timer does not control ovenoperations. The maximum settingon the timer is 9 hours and 59minutes.To Set the Timer[Z] Pressthe Kitchen Timer On/Off pad.r_ on models with number pads, press themuntil the amount of time you want showsin the display. For example, to set 2 hoursand 45 minutes, press 2,/4 and 5 in thatorder.On models with Hour and Nin + and- pads, press them until the amount oftime you want shows in the display. Themaximum time you can enter in minutesis 59. Cooking times more than 59minutes should be changed to hours andminutes. Forexample, enter 90 minutesas 1 hour, 30 minutes.If you make a mistake, press KitchenTimer On/Off and begin again.r_ Press the Startpad.After pressing the Startpad, SETdisappears;this tellsyou the time is counting down,although the display does not change until oneminute has passed.Secondswill not be shownin the display until the last minute is countingdown.[] When the timer reaches :00, the controlwill beep 3 times followed by one beepevery 6 seconds until the Kitchen TimerOn/Off pad is pressed.The6-second tone can be canceled by followingthe steps in the Special features ofyour ovencontrol section under Tonesat the End of aTimed Cycle.To Reset the TimerIf the display is still showing the time remaining,you may change it by pressing the KitchenTimer On/Off pad, then press the numberpads (on some models) or the Hour and Nin +or - pads (on some models) until the time youwant appears in the display.If the remaining time is not in the display (clock,delay start or cooking time are in the display),recall the remaining time by pressing theKitchen Timer On/Off pad and then pressingthe number pads (on some models) or theHour and l'4in + or - pads (on some models)toenter the new time you want.To Cancel the TimerPressKitchen Timer On/Off pad twice.
