Failure to do so may resultin electric shock or burn.i URN HAZARD: The gloss cover and bulb should be removed when cool. Touching hotgloss with bore hands or a damp cloth can cause burns.Oven Light ReplacementTo remove:r-f1 Turn the glass cover counterclockwise 1/4turn until the tabs of the glass cover clearthe grooves of the socket. Wearing latexgloves may offer a better grip.r_ using gloves or a dry cloth, remove thebulb by pulling it straight out.To replace:[Z] use a new 120/130-volt halogen bulb, notto exceed 50 watts. Replace the bulb withthe same type of bulb that was removed.Your model will have one of the two typesshown on the left.To determine thecorrect replacement bulb, check the bulbterminals. Bulbs with 2 straight pinterminals are G6.35 bulbs. Bulbs with 2looped terminals are G9 bulbs. (Do notinterchange.) Be sure the replacementbulb is rated 120 volts or 130 volts (NOT12 volts).BEUsing gloves or a dry cloth, remove thebulb from its packaging. Do not touch thebulb with bare fingers. Oil from skin willdamage the bulb and shorten its life.Receptacleigtovesorcloth% Placethe tabs of the glass cover into thegrooves of the socket. Turn the glasscover clockwise 1/4 turn.For improved lighting inside the oven,clean the glass cover frequently using awet cloth. This should be done when theoven is completely cool.[] Reconnect electrical power to the oven.Pushthe bulb straight into the receptacler_ all the way.:i¸!Q!!i!iii u13½" _ ', P-\ :'Bulb,In uGlass cove[Oven Light Bulb (onsomemodels)To remove:Turn the glass cover counterclockwise 1/4turn until the tabs of the glass cover clear thegrooves of the socket. Remove the bulb.To replace:Put in a new 40-watt appliance bulb. Placethetabs of the glass cover into the grooves of thesocket. Turn the glass cover clockwise 1/4 turn.NOTE:A 40-watt appliance bulb is smaller thana standard 40-watt household bulb.Install and tighten the cover clockwise.Reconnect electrical power to the oven.For improved lighting inside the oven, cleanthe glass cover frequently using a wetcloth.
