SELECTING THE SITEKeep the following in mind when selecting a site for installation; if possible, visit the user'sbefore delivery of the machine:• The site offers a power outlet whose rating is as specified (±10%) and which may be usedexclusively for the machine.• The site is between 7.5°C/45.5°F and 32.5°C/90.5°F in temperature and between 5% and85% in humidity. Avoid an area near water faucets, water boilers, humidifiers, and refrigera-tors.• Avoid areas near sources of fire. The site must not be subject to ammonium gas or direct raysof the sun. (As necessary, provide curtains.)• The site must be well ventilated.The level of ozone generated by the machine should not affect the health of people around it.Some, however, may find the odor to be rather unpleasant, and ventilation is a very importantfactor.• The floor of the site must ensure that the machine's feet will remain in contact, and will holdthe machine level.• The machine must be at least 10 cm/3.9 in. away from any wall, and there must be adequatespace for work involving the machine.Figure 9-10110cm min.10cm min.
