75ShootingLocking the Flash Exposure Setting (FE Lock)You can lock the flash exposure so that the exposure settings are correctlyset for a particular portion of your subject.To release the FE lock1 Press the DISP. button to turn theLCD monitor on.2 Press the button to set the flashto .3 Focus on the part of the subject onwhich you wish to lock the flashexposure setting.4 Press the shutter button halfway(two beeps will sound) and pressthe button.• The flash will fire a pre-flash and lock theflash exposure to the required intensity toilluminate the subject.• The icon will display.5 Re-aim the camera to compose theshot as desired and press theshutter button fully.
