30Basic FunctionsTurning the Power OnTo turn the power offPress the ON/OFF button again.• If the “Card locked!” message appears right after the power isturned on, the SD card cannot record (p. 23).• The Date/Time menu will appear the first time the camera power isturned on or whenever the built-in rechargeable lithium batterycharge is low. Reset the date and time when this occurs (p. 26).• If the power saving function activates, press the ON/OFF buttonto restore power. (p. 31)• You will hear a start-up sound and see the start-up image when thepower is turned on.
