Setting the Display Language and Country 1-291Before You Start Using This MachineSetting the Display Language andCountryWhen you connect the power cord to an AC outlet for the first time, you need to select thelanguage for the LCD display. For some countries, you also need to select the country whereyou are using the FAX-L2000/2000IP. The FAX-L2000/2000IP automatically switches theselectable settings and the default settings in the menus to suit the selected country.Follow these steps to set the display language and country.After connecting the power cord, the display changes from to the LANGUAGE> menu.NOTE• The country selection feature is available for certain countries only.1 Press [▼] or [▲] to select the preferred language for the LCDdisplay ➞ press [OK].If does not appear after isdisplayed, the setting is completed.
