C | Page 73Number of LeasesThe maximum number of IP Addresses that will be leased out to units connected to the Viper when the DHCPserver is enabled. It represents the maximum number of DHCP clients that will be able to lease an IP address fromthe Viper.Lease DurationThe length of time in minutes that each IP address will be leased to a DHCP client before it expires and a new leaseis required. Zero (0) minutes means leases do not expire.GatewayThis is the IP address of the gateway assigned by the DHCP Server. In router mode, the default gateway is the IPaddress of the Viper itself. In bridge mode, the default gateway is 0.0.0.0. To override the default setting, enter avalid IP address to specify the gateway.Save — Click Save to save any changes you have made in this tab. See Note below.Cancel — Click Cancel to cancel any changes you may have made to any of the settings in this tab.Note: If you change any of the above setting in this tab, as indicated by the yellow alert symbol ( ), a reset of theViper is required before the setting will take effect.4.4.3.
