Connect the red positive (+) cableto the positive (+) terminal of thevehicle with the dead battery.8. Do not let the other end touchmetal. Connect it to thepositive (+) terminal of the goodbattery. Use a remote positive (+)terminal if the vehicle has one.9. Connect the black negative (ā)cable to the negative (ā) terminalof the good battery. Use a remotenegative (-) terminal if thevehicle has one.Do not let the other end touchanything until the next step.
