Follow the instructions in this section toconfigure the controller.1. Connect a computer running the Windows operating system directly to the Access EasyController using the crossover network cable.X The computer that you use should be configured for the 129.2.0 network. We suggestthe computer be configured for:– IP address ………. 129.2.0.40,– Subnet mask …….. 255.255.0.0– Gateway ………….. 0.0.0.0.X Use the Crossover cable to connect the computer with the controller.2. If not already done, power up the controller at this time.X The CPU card will perform a power-up self-test. This test takes about 90 seconds to com-plete. When the self-test is finished, LEDs 1, 2 and 3 should alternately flash in the lowercorner of the Secure/Communication Card.X Wait until the self-test is complete before proceeding.3. On the computer, open a Web browser application (either Microsoft Internet Explorer orNetscape Navigator) and enter the controller's IP address (129.2.0.41) in the browser'saddress or location bar. Then click GO (or press ENTER) to connect to the controller.X If you have never used your browser to connect to Access Easy Controller before, it maybe necessary to make slight configuration changes within the browser setup to establishconnectivity for the first time. The most common setup change needed is to instruct thebrowser to connect using a LAN rather than a dialup modem.X The controller should respond to the connection attempt by displaying the Login window.4. Login to Access Easy Controller using the master user name "user1" and password"8088". Then press the Login button.Result: Upon successful login, the Access Easy Controller home page should be dis-played.5. From the home page, select Panel Admin.Result: The Users list screen should be displayed.i NOTICE!During the power-up self test duration, no communication with the controller is possible.
