The examination confirms continued control-ler operation, including access control decision marking, under fault conditions on the wiringbetween the controller's serial port and the external modem.10.2 Installing the Modem1. Connect the modem to the Access Easy Controller's serial port using the cable providedwith the modem. If this is a UL-compliant installation, be sure to adhere to the guidelinesin the previous section.2.
