If you use a reflective sun shade, donot allow it to cover the camera housing.Covering the camera can concentrate heat onit.■ Camera Location and Handling Tips1Front Sensor Camera*Never apply a film or attach any objects towindshield, the hood, or the front grill that couldobstruct the camera’s field of vision and cause thesystem to operate abnormally.Scratches, nicks, and other damage to the windshieldwithin the camera’s field of vision can cause thesystem to operate abnormally. If this occurs, werecommend that you replace the windshield with agenuine Acura replacement windshield. Making evenminor repairs within the camera’s field of vision orinstalling an aftermarket replacement windshieldmay also cause the system to operate abnormally.After replacing the windshield, have a dealerrecalibrate the camera. Proper calibration of thecamera is necessary for the system to operateproperly.Do not place an object on the top of the instrumentpanel.
