Program features 131 Parameter restoreParameters are divided into three different groups that can be restored together orindividually:• Motor configuration parameters and identification (ID) run results• Encoder and fieldbus adapter settings• Other parameters. For example, retaining the existing ID run results in the drive makes a new ID rununnecessary.Restoring individual parameters can fail for the following reasons:• The restored value does not fall within the minimum and maximum limits of thedrive parameter• The type of the restored parameter is different from that in the drive• The restored parameter does not exist in the drive (often the case when restoringthe parameters of a new firmware version to a drive with an older version)• The backup does not contain a value for the drive parameter (often the case whenrestoring the parameters of an old firmware version to a drive with a newerversion). In these cases, the parameter is not restored. The backup/restore tool warns the userand offers a possibility to set the parameter manually. User parameter setsThe drive has 50 user parameter sets that can be saved to the permanent memoryand recalled using drive parameters. It is also possible to use digital inputs to switchbetween different user parameter sets. See the descriptions of parameters16.07…16.10.A user parameter set contains all values of parameter groups 10 to 99 (except thefieldbus communication configuration settings). As the motor settings are included in the user parameter sets, make sure the settingscorrespond to the motor used in the application before recalling a user set.
