When cleaning the surface of display unit, use the anti-static soft cloth which causes less fiber shedding.(Recommended cloth: savina MX wiping cloth made by KB SEIREN, LTD.)When the surface is very dirty, use ethyl alcohol (nearly 100%). Do not use other solvent other than theethyl alcohol. For the contamination of joint portion, use the anti-static air blaster that is commerciallyavailable.. Do not moisten the surface of a display unit.. The display unit has sharp edges. To prevent an injury from occurring, take care that the customer doesnot directly touch an array.Storage (when moving the display unit temporarily). Be sure to dry it before packing the display unit.. Store display unit in a dry and well-ventilated place.. When storing the display unit in a flight case, remove the dust on the surface of the display unit andattach a protection cover and protection plate.1-4-2. Display ControllerCommon items. Do not use the display controller in a place subject to vibration or shock.. Do not use it near a dusty place and poisonous gas.. Do not perform installation, operation, and storage in the operating environment where dew condensa-tion may occur in the display controller.. Do not place the display controller in a place where water may be splashed. If the display controller isimmersed in water, consult the service representative without turning on the power.. If any abnormality or problem occurs or a foreign substance is put in the display controller, pull out thepower plug and consult the service representative without using the display controller.Installation. The category 7 cable to transmit the video signal from the display controller to the display unit is notsupplied. Use the cable with the connectors that have the specified materials, size, and shape.Also, the cable to connect the display controller and PC (Ethernet cable (category 5), or USB cable) isnot supplied. Prepare the cable that meets the specifications.. Connect the safety ground to the display controller. Otherwise, it may cause electrical shock.Connect the ground wire also to (ground) terminal. Be sure to connect the safety ground evenduring the operation check and repair work.(Ground) terminal
