Disconnect lamp from mains power beforeperforming any maintenance. DO NOT shine lamp directly into your, other person’sor animal’s eyes. DO NOT allow children to use the lamp. Maintain the lamp in good condition. DO NOT use the lamp if the lamp if damaged. When not in use store the light in a safe, dry,childproof location. WARNING! Ensure Health and safety, local authorityand general workshop practice regulations areadhered to when using this light. Wear eye protection. A full range of safety equipmentis available from your sealey dealer. Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging. DO NOT wear jewellery and tie back long hair. Account for all tools being used and Do not leavethem in or near the engine.1.2. ELECTRICAL SAFETY FOR USE OFTRANSFORMER. USE ONLY THE SUPPLIEDTRANSFORMER PLUG FOR CONNECTING LAMP TOTHE POWER SUPPLY. WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to read, under-stand and comply with the following electrical instructions:You must ensure the risk of electric shock is minimised bythe installation of appropriate safety devices. An rccB(residual current circuit Breaker) should be incorporatedin the main distribution board. We alsorecommend that an rcD (residual current Device) isused with all electrical products, particularly portableequipment which is plugged into an electrical supply notprotected by an rccB.You must also read and understand the following instruc-tions concerning electrical safety.1.2.1. The Electricity At Work Act 1989 requires all port-able electrical appliances, if used on businesspremises, to be tested by a qualified electrician, using aPortable Appliance tester (PAt), at least once a year.1.2.2. The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 makesowners of electrical appliances responsible for the safecondition of the appliance and the safety of the applianceoperator. You must ensure that you: Inspect the transformer plug, cable and connector forwear and damage to ensure items are safe beforeconnecting to the mains power supply. If worn ordamaged DO NOT use. Important: check that the voltage marked on thetransformer plug is the same as the power supply tobe used. uncoil the cable between transformer plug and lamp. DO NOT pull the transformer plug from the mainssocket by the lead. DO NOT use any other type of transformer with thisproduct. DO NOT try to take the transformer plug apart. DO NOT use the transformer plug to power any otherelectrical item. DO NOT get the transformer plug wet, or use inwet, damp conditions (for indoor use only). WARNING! NEVER substitute a standard 13amp3 pin plug, or any other type of plug, for thetransformer plug.this transformer plug reduces and rectifies the mainsvoltage (230 volts Ac) to 12 volts DC. WARNING: The warnings, cautions and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover allpossible conditions and situations that may occur.
