Chat Fusion User’s Guide 52Changing Functional SDB SettingsTo access the options for changing Speech Display bar settings, chooseMenu > Settings > Input.Option DescriptionTap to Speak This option toggles the option for the SDB to speakwhen chosen or notTap to Expand This option toggles the option for the SDB toexpand when chosen or notEnable Menu This option toggles the SDB context menu on or off.Enable ClearSDB (X)This option either hides or displays the X on the farright of the SDB. The X deletes a word whentapped or clears the entire SDB when held.Changing SDB Style SettingsTo change SDB style settings, choose Menu > Settings > Style. The Styleoptions allow you to configure the following for the SDB:• font type, size, and style (Bold or Italic)• height (number of rows)• background color• text colorYou can also configure the SDB to display icons in addition to text or toappear at the bottom instead of the top of the screen.To configure the SDB to display icons in addition to text:1. Choose Menu > Settings > Style.2. Tap SDB Icons to insert a checkmark.To return the SDB to a text-only display, tap SDB Icons to remove thecheckmark.To configure the SDB to appear at the bottom of the screen:1. Choose Menu > Settings > Style.2. Tap On Top to remove the checkmark.To return the SDB to the top of the screen, tap On Top to insert acheckmark.
