Chat Fusion User’s Guide 130Configuring SwitchesTo use an external switch, plug the switch into either switch jack A orswitch jack B on the side of the device.You can choose to have scanning activate automatically, or you canchoose to either hold the switch or step to each location. With AutoScan off, a switch activation is required to move the scan through eachbutton, one at a time.1. To enable scanning, choose Menu > Settings > Input > Scanning >Enable Scanning.2. Choose Switch Access > Switch Configuration.3. Choose the selection method: One Switch (Touchscreen); OneSwitch (Amp Jack A); Two Switch (Amp Jack A, Touchscreen); TwoSwitch (Amp Jack A, Amp Jack B); One Switch (Keyboard 1.1); or TwoSwitch (Keyboard 1.1, Keyboard 2.1).4. To set scanning to activate without holding a switch, choose SwitchAccess > Auto Scan.5. To find other switch scanning options, choose Back.
