Achanged working directory is applicable only to the dialogs which areopened for the first time after changing the directory or restarting theapplication. Change the location of the browser used to view the online help. TheBrowser Location field is not supported/displayed for Mac OS X. Select a Display Dialog When Making Non-secure Connections option. Ifenabled, the Non-secure Connections Check dialog is displayed when youattempt to open a non-secure fabric. You then have the option of opening anon-secure fabric. If disabled (default), you cannot open a fabric with anon-secure connection. Enable (default) or disable the Event Browser. Refer to ”Event Browser” onpage 2-3. If the Event Browser is enabled using the Preferences dialog(Figure 1-5) the next time QuickTools is started, all events will be displayed.If the Event Browser is disabled when QuickTools is started and laterenabled, only those events from the time the Event Browser was enabledand forward will be displayed. Choose a Preferred Initial Port View option (shown in the faceplate display).Options include port type (default), port speed, port operational state, andport transceiver media. Regardless of the port view you choose, you canchange the port view in the faceplate display by opening the View menu andselecting a different port view option.
