9Quick start Guide1 Connect the mains lead to the AC Adaptor.2 Connect the AC Adaptor DC plug to the DC INsocket.3 Plug into household mains socket.• Be sure to use the power cord and AC adaptorincluded in the accessories.• Do not use the AC adaptor for other than thespecified equipment.• Unplug the AC adaptor if it is not used for longtime.• Do not place any objects on the AC adaptor.• Do not use the AC adaptor outdoors.• Do not attempt to repair the AC adaptor if it isbroken or malfunctioning. Refer the servicingto the service representative.• Do not try to open the AC adaptor.• Do not use water or wet cloth for cleaning theAC adaptor.2132. Connecting the AC Adaptor3. Switch TV ONPress the switch on the LCD TV to turnthe set on.IMPORTANT NOTESThere are two ways to switch the TV set to stand-by mode.(A) Press the switch on the LCD TV and checkRED LED is lit.OR(B) Press the Stand-by button on the remotecontrol.The TV set can be switched on by the remotecontroller if it was switched to stand-by usingmethod (A) or method (B).When programme number up ( )/down ( ) but-tons on the side panel of the main part arepressed in stand-by mode, TV turns on.If the TV has not been programmed for you thenAuto setup will begin, your stations will belocated, sorted into order and stored ready foruse (refer to P22).4.
