Features 3-33 Features AAccount Code EntryAn account code is used to identify incoming and outgoing outside calls for accounting andbilling purposes. The account code is appended to the SMDR call record. For incomingoutside calls, an account code is optional. For outgoing outside calls, there are 4 accountinput modes programmable in program [605], Option, Forced, Verify–All and Verify–Toll.Option: A 4-digit code may be entered during a conversation or within 30 secondsafter a conversation when a record is needed.Forced: A 4-digit code must be entered within 5 seconds after an exchange line isseized. The code can be any number.Verify–All: Enables to make an outside call if the code entered within 5 seconds after anextension user seizes an exchange line is the same as one of the accountcodes programmed in [310].Verify–Toll: Enables to override call barring temporarily by entering one of the accountcodes programmed in [310] within 5 seconds after an exchange line isseized. If the userselects “Voice Call”, the calling party can talk to the user immediately after the confirmationtone.
