7.1 Firmware Server SetupNo special server is necessary for the firmware update. You can use an HTTP server as the firmware serverby simply setting its URL.Note• This feature is available only in IPv4 mode.• A firmware update takes about 4 minutes.• The unit will restart after the firmware update is complete.• The unit cannot be used while the firmware is being updated.• It is recommended to select a time for updating in which the unit will not be used. (For details aboutthe timing of updating configuration files, see 2.2.4 Downloading Configuration Files.)7.2 Firmware Update SettingsFirmware updates are provided by the manufacturer when necessary.The firmware update will be executed by setting the corresponding parameters using configuration fileprogramming (® see 5.3.6 Firmware Update Settings) or Web user interface programming (® see4.7.2 Firmware Maintenance).
