38 OEM4 Family Installation and Operation User Manual Rev 12Chapter 3 Installation and Set UpTable 7: Available Strobe Signals on Receivers3.3.2 USB (OEM4-G2 and OEM4-G2L Only)A USB connection is a fast, bi-directional, simultaneous, and dynamically attachable serial interface.Three peripheral USB ports are supported on the OEM4-G2 and OEM4-G2L using the singleinterface provided by the USB D(+) and USB D(-) signals, along with firmware version 2.100 orhigher. See Figure 41 on Page 114 and Figure 43 on Page 119 for information on the pins thesesignals are provided on. Note that the receivers do not support use as a host device. Although the portfor a USB device may appear on some of the other receivers, it is intended for future implementationand should not be used, for any reason, at this time.3.3.3 Status IndicatorsMany of the OEM4 family receivers have LED indicators that provide the status of the receiver. TheGPSCards have a single indicator, which is shown in Figure 10 on Page 33 for the OEM4-G2L, andFigure 11 on Page 34 for the OEM4-G2. The LED blinks green on and off at approximately 1 Hz toindicate normal operation. If the indicator is red, then the receiver is not working properly.
