Amachine may function properly while it is beingserviced, but malfunctions later. Information providedby the user can help the technician start in the rightdirection, and may be a determining factor in the finaldiagnosis.Ask these questions before beginning service:• When does the ice machine malfunction? (night,day, all the time, only during the Freeze cycle, etc.)• When do you notice low ice production? (one daya week, every day, on weekends, etc.)• Can you describe exactly what the ice machineseems to be doing?• Has anyone been working on the ice machine?• During “store shutdown,” is the circuit breaker,water supply or air temperature altered?• Is there any reason why incoming water pressuremight rise or drop substantially?INSTALLATION/VISUAL INSPECTION CHECKLISTPossible Problem List Corrective Action ListFilter and/or condenser isdirty.Clean the filter andcondenser.Water filtration is plugged (ifused).Install a new water filter.Water drain is not vented oris improperly installed.Run and vent drainsaccording to the installationmanual.
