30Basic operations of disc/file playback■When a disc/file is played backPress the number buttons to selectthe chapter number or track number.You can skip within a file at approximately 5 minuteintervals. This is useful especially when you wantto skip within a long file.■When a disc/file is played backPress 2 or 3.• Each time you press 2 or 3, the playback posi-tion skips to the beginning of the previous ornext interval. Each interval is approximately 5minutes.NOTE• Intervals are automatically assigned from thebeginning of a file.• You can use this function only within the samefile.■When a disc is stopped or played back1 Press [MENU] or [TOP MENU].• The menu screen is displayed.2 Press 5, /, 2 , 3 or the numberbuttons to select the desired track.3 Press [ENTER].NOTE• You can use this function only when a menuscreen is recorded on the disc.• For a VCD/SVCD, [MENU] and [TOP MENU]may be unavailable in step 1.
