If the plug fitted is not suitablefor the power points in your home or the cableis too short to reach a power point, then obtainan appropriate safety approved extension leador adaptor or consult your dealer.If nonetheless the mains plug is cut off,remove the fuse and dispose of the plugimmediately, to avoid a possible shockhazard by inadvertent connection to themains supply.If a new mains plug has to be fitted, thenfollow the instruction given below:ImportantDo not make any connection to the largerterminal which is marked with the letter E orby the safety earth symbol or colouredgreen or green-and-yellow.The wires in the mains lead on this productare coloured in accordance with thefollowing code:Blue: NeutralBrown: LiveAs these colours may not correspond with thecoloured marking identifying the terminals inyour plug proceed as follows:The wire which is coloured blue must beconnected to the terminal which is markedwith the letter N or coloured black.The wire which is coloured brown must beconnected to the terminal which is markedwith the letter L or coloured red.When replacing the fuse, use only a correctlyrated approved type and always re-fit the fusecover. If in doubt — consult a competentelectrician.How to replace the fuseOpen the fusecompartment with ablade screwdriver, andreplace the fuse.
