26FEATURES menu3 Press the a buttonThe Sub-menu of CHILD LOCK appears.4 Press the 6 buttons to choose aTV channelEvery time you press the 6 buttons, theProgramme number (PR) changes, and thepicture of the TV channel registered in theProgramme number (PR) is displayed onthe screen.5 Press the blue button and set theCHILD LOCK function.Then press the a buttonn (CHILD LOCK) appears and the TVchannel is locked.To reset the CHILD LOCK function:Press the blue button again.n (CHILD LOCK) disappears.To disable easy resetting of the CHILDLOCK function, the menu disappears bychoosing the CHILD LOCK function andpressing the a button as in the ordinarymenu operation. To view a locked TV channel1 Choose a Programme number (PR)in which a TV channel locked withthe Number buttons or PR LISTThe screen changes to blue and the n(CHILD LOCK) appears. You cannotview the TV channel.2 Press the h (Information) button todisplay “ID NO.” (ID NO. inputscreen).3 Press the Number buttons to enterthe ID numberThe lock is temporarily released so youcan view the TV channel.If you have forgotten the IDnumber:Perform step 1 of “To set the CHILDLOCK function”. After confirming the IDnumber, press the b button to exit themenu.• Even if you reset the lock temporarily,it does not mean that the CHILDLOCK function set for the TV channelis cancelled.
