328 TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND TROUBLESHOOTINGFault Codes PRIME toolsSeveral of the error messages below may appear simultaneously� It is important to check all the messages in order tomake a correct analysis of the error. When the first error message is dismissed the next one will appear.* XX different numbers depending on the tool that is connected to the power unitCode Message Reason ActionF0101 Overcurrent detected�This error is caused by an overcurrentto the tool� This may be due to a shortcircuit, poor wire insulation, or the drillor saw blade has been pinched abruptly�If the error is repeated several times itcould be a hardware failure, such as ashort circuit� It may also be caused bya short circuit in the motor (check thetool’s WM troubleshooting guide), ashort circuit in the Power Pack, or slurrybuild-up between connector terminals�Run at a lower speed and/or amore even load� If this doesn’thelp then check all hardware�FXX08 High motor temperaturedetected�This error may be caused by the tool’smotor temperature becoming too high�Increase the flow of cooling water(See the technical specificationsin the Owner’s Manual of theconnected tool)� Other reasonsmay be that the temperaturesensor in the HF motor is poorlyconnected or is defective� Thefault may however not be due toan insufficient oil level in themotor� Check the troubleshootingmanual for the respective tools�F0112 Low input voltagedetected�This error is due to the input voltagebeing too low� It can also be caused byusing extensions cords that are too longor thin, or if the cables are wound tightlyin a roll� You might get the error if theoutlet is ungrounded�Check the Owner’s Manual forthe minimum input currentallowed� Ensure the voltage of theelectrical outlet is high enough(it is important to measure thevoltage during operation)� If theerror does not occur at the servicecenter where the voltage outletis sufficient, there is probablynothing wrong with the product�F0113 High input voltagedetected�This error is caused by an input voltagethat is too high� This might be caused byvoltage spikes from generators with poorpower quality�Check the Owner’s Manual forthe maximum allowed inputcurrent and frequency range�FXX14 Tool temperature sensorerror detected�This error may be caused by an open orshort circuit in the temperature sensor,or that the temperature sensor in thetool is not connected or faultyCheck the troubleshootingguide for the respective tool fortroubleshooting the temperaturesensor/tool card� |
