12Que ApplicationsQueMapUsing Preferences for QueMapUse Maps Preferences to:• Reduce “Map Clutter” by controlling how items are displayed.• Set the maximum Zoom scale at which map items display.• Control the display of multiple map features.The factory (default) settings for these preferences allow you tooperate the QueMap application with confidence. As you become morefamiliar with its operation, you may desire to customize the applicationto fit your needs.To view the QueMap Preferences:1. From the QueMap application, tap Menu icon .2. Tap Preferences.3. View and change the preferences as needed. To open a differentQueMap Preferences page, such as the Navigation Preferences, tapthe symbol before “General”, as shown to the left.Each preference window is provided with a Help button to explainpreference settings in detail. These pages provide an overview of thepreferences available.For more information about Heading, Course, and Bearing lines,consult the Garmin web site at www.garmin.com/aboutGPS/.Most Map Preferencesoffer a “Text Size”option selector anda ‘Maximum Zoom”Selector option.Map Preferences Pages are accessed by tapping thesymbol to the left of the Maps option to display the list ofmap preferences.
