Touchinghot glassCAUTION withbarehandsoradampclothcancauseburnsF{eceotacte ,SOCKet Oven Light Replacement_ G6.35Bulbon some modetsReceotacle SOCKeI_GgBulbGlasscover(onsomemodels)Toremove:[77 Turn the glass covercounterclockwise 1/4 turn untilthe tabs of the glass cover clear thegrooves of the socket. Wearing latexgloves may offer a better g_ip._-] Using gloves or a dry cloth, removethe bulb by pulling it straight out.Toreplace:[77 Use a new 120/130wolt halogenbulb, not to exceed 50 watts.Replace the bulb with the sametype of bulb that was removed. Yourmodel will have one of the two typesshown on the left. To detemdne theconect replacement bulb, check thebulb temdnals. Bulbs with 2 suaightpin mmfinals are G6.35 bulbs. Bulbswith 2 looped mmdnals are G9bulbs. (Do not interchange.) Be surethe replacement bulb is rated 120volts or 130 volts (NOT 12 volts).Using gloves or a d D, clod1, removetile bulb flom its packaging. Do nottouch the bulb with bare fingei_. Oilflom skin will damage the bulb andshorten its life.Push the bulb straight into thereceptacle all the way.Place tile tabs of tile ,glasscover intothe grooves of the socket. Tmn theglass cover clockwise :l/4 turn.For improved lighting insidefile oven, clean file glass coverfiequendy using a wet cloth. Thisshould be done when die oven iscompletely cool.[_ Reconnect electrical power tothe oven._ii!! ¸¸¸¸, , kt|GlasscoverLower Oven Light Bulb (onsomemodels)Toremove:Turn the ,glasscover counterclockwise1/4 mm until the tabs of the glass coverclear the grooves of the socket. Removethe bulb.Toreplace:Put in a new 40-watt appliance bulb.Place the tabs of the glass cover into thegrooves of the socket. Tmn the glasscover clockwise 1/4 ram.NOTES:_, A 40-wattappliancebulbissmallerthana standard40-watthouseholdbulb.Installandtightenthecoverclockwise.Reconnectelectricalpowerto theoven., Forimprovedlightingbside theoven,cleantheglasscoverfrequentlyusinga wet cloth.Thisshouldbedonewhentheoveniscompletelycool.37
