324If a problem occurs with the camera, first refer to this TroubleshootingGuide. If this Troubleshooting Guide does not resolve the problem,contact your dealer or nearest Canon Service Center.Do not recharge any battery pack other than a genuine Canon BatteryPack LP-E8.If there is a problem with the battery charger, the protective circuit willstop the charging operation and the charge lamp will blink in orange. Ifthis happens, disconnect the charger’s power plug from the poweroutlet and remove the battery pack. Attach the battery pack to thecharger again and wait a while before connecting the charger to apower outlet again.Make sure the battery is properly installed in the camera (p.30) .Make sure the battery compartment cover is closed (p.30).Make sure the card slot cover is closed (p.31).Recharge the battery (p.28) .Press the <B> button (p.50).If the power is turned off while an image is being recorded to the card,the access lamp will remain on/continue to blink for a few seconds.When the image recording is completed, the power will turn offautomatically.Troubleshooting GuidePower-Related ProblemsThe battery pack does not recharge.The battery charger’s lamp blinks.The camera does not operate even when the power switchis set to <1>.The access lamp still blinks even when the power switch isset to <2>.COPY
