CLIMATE CONTROLS 173The climate control system uses thesensor information to adjust thetemperature, fan speed, recirculation,and air delivery mode for bestcomfort.If the sensor is covered, the automaticclimate control system may not workproperly.Air Quality SensorIf equipped with an air quality sensor,the climate control system adjusts tolimit some exhaust fumes from beingpulled inside the vehicle.Press the AUTO button on the climatecontrol to activate the air qualitysensor. Recirculation is automaticallyselected when poor quality air isdetected. The air quality sensor willnot maintain recirculation for anextended period to prevent the airinside the vehicle from becoming toodry or stuffy.Under certain conditions, the airquality sensor will not activate, suchas during cold weather or withextreme odours.
