Typical ApplicationsThis section describes typical procedures for transferring andviewing images stored on Diskus or the workstation’s hard disk.Viewing a YUV Image Stored on the Workstation DiskChange to the images directory. While you do not have to use thisstep, it is much easier if you are in the directory to begin with.These examples assume that the images are in the directory“images,” which is in the path /usr/people/guest/images.If you enter “yuv” without arguments, the workstation gives abrief explanation of the command syntax.To view an image named “statue.yuv” with aspect ratiocorrection, enter: yuv -a statue.yuv and press RETURN. Anempty window opens on the screen. You can move the windowon the screen with the mouse. Click the left mouse button to showthe image.Move the mouse cursor inside the image window and click theright mouse button.
