The CELL-DYN 3000 monitors conditions and datacriteria that may affect the displayed results and these messages and flagsare used to alert the operator. Instructions for interpreting all flags,numeric, scatterplot and histogram data should be incorporated into thelaboratory’s procedure and used to determine the need for further actionand/or review of results. Messages are divided into the followingcategories:Instrument Messages:• Fault Conditions• Status ConditionsParameter Flagging Messages:• Dispersional Data Alerts• Suspect Parameter Flags• Suspect Population Flags• Interpretive MessagesDetailed descriptions of the messages in each of the categories are givenin this section.Instrument Fault and Status ConditionsThe instrument fault and status conditions are discussed in detail in theTroubleshooting Guide. These messages are displayed when theinstrument detects an inappropriate condition during specimenprocessing. When necessary, data is suppressed. When any of thesemessages is displayed, refer to the Troubleshooting Guide for assistance.Follow the instructions given and take the appropriate corrective action.When the problem is corrected, repeat the specimen. If the problemcannot be corrected, contact the Abbott Customer Support Center forassistance at1 (800) CELL DYN.
