AudioCODECs describe the format by which audio streams are compressed for transmission over networks.While some CODECs require less bandwidth than others, lower bandwidth often exhibits lower voicequality.With only one CODEC enabled, all calls made will use that particular audio compression format. TheG.729 CODEC consumes the lowest bandwidth, whereas the G.711 CODEC requires the mostbandwidth but provides the best voice quality.Move CODECs to or from the enabled window using the arrow buttons.
