The options are Always, Default, and Never.When set to Always, the IP address of the computer on which the softphone is installed will be sent.When set to Default, if defined, the outbound proxy’s address will be sent; otherwise, the computer’sinternal address will be sent. When set to Never, the firewall outbound proxy’s address will be sent.STUN ServerSet this value to enable the ADTRAN IP Softphone to override the STUN host. The STUN protocol isthe preferred protocol for detecting firewall and NAT status.Firewall Outbound ProxySet the DNS name or IP address of the firewall proxy of the user’s local network.Enable ICECheck this box to enable ICE. ICE is a protocol that detects the shortest network path during a voiceconversation. This can help overcome certain problems with endpoints behind the same firewall.Server-side StorageFigure 6 shows the Server-side Storage menu for a SIP account configuration. Use this menu to indicatewhere to store contact information. The information can be stored either locally or remotely usinginformation provided by the VoIP service provide or administrator.
