If you do not enterthe file-name parameter in this command, for the Switches that have specified theconfiguration file for booting, the current configurations will be stored to thespecified configuration file; and for the Switches that have not specified theconfiguration file for booting, the current configurations will be stored to the defaultconfiguration file, which is sw5500cfg.cfg for Series 5500 Switches.Erasing ConfigurationFiles from Flash MemoryThe reset saved-configuration command can be used to erase configuration filesfrom Flash Memory. The system will use the default configuration parameters forinitialization when the Switch is powered on for the next time.Perform the following configuration in User View.Table 480 Erase Configuration Files from Flash MemoryYou may erase the configuration files from the Flash in the following cases:■ After being upgraded, the software does not match with the configuration files.■ The configuration files in flash are damaged.
