440 CHAPTER 22: F ILE SYSTEM MANAGEMENTFile Operation The file system can be used to delete or undelete a file and permanently delete a file.Also, it can be used to display file contents, rename, copy and move a file and displaythe information about a specified file.Using the delete file-url command to delete a file, leaves the contents of the fileon the flash file system and does not free flash space. The file can be recovered usingthe undelete command. To delete a file and free space on the flash file system usethe delete /unreserved file-url command. Using this command will ensure thatspace is made available on the flash file system for additional information. To ensurethat all deleted files have been removed from the system use the reset recycle-bincommand, this will prompt for removal of all files in the file system.When operating in a stack of switches to clear space the user has to change to theflash of each switch in the stack separately and then clear space in the file system ofeach switch in turn.
