SqueezeResect the Patella (cont.)Apply the patella osteotomy guide medially andlaterally with the jaws at the osteochondral juncturewith the handles of the jig oriented toward the foot.Apply the guide with the jaws parallel to the dorsalsurface of the patella, while positioning the patellaosteotomy guide stylus over the most prominentpoint on the patella. Make the resection with a 1.27mm (0.050 inch) thick saw blade (Figure 62).
